DESCRIPTION:Please join the SBA Massachusetts District Office and the Office of Advocacy for a roundtable discussion of federal regulatory issues impacting your small business.  Advocacy is also inviting Massachusetts Congressional offices and key federal agencies to hear your concerns about federal regulations and other issues you may be facing with your small business. \n\n \nThe purpose of Advocacy's Regional Regulatory Roundtables is to:\n\n1. Identify regional small business regulatory issues in order to assist agencies with regulatory reform and reduction in compliance with Executive Orders 13771 & 13777\;\n\n2. Compile crucial information for Advocacy's new report on existing small business regulatory burdens across the nation\, identifying specific recommendations for regulatory changes based upon first-hand accounts from small businesses across the country\; and\n\n3. ?Inform and educate the small business public as to how Advocacy and SBA can assist them with their small business. \n\n\n\nRoundtable Agenda:\n\n1:00-1:20 p.m.: Registration and networking\n\n1:20-1:30 p.m.: Opening Remarks and Welcome\n\n1:30-1:40 p.m.: Who is Advocacy and Why are we here?\n\n1:40-2:10 p.m.: Input from the Transportation\, Hospitality\, and Retail Industries\n\n2:10-2:40 p.m.: Input from the Financial Services\, Tech\, and Real Estate Industries\n\n2:40-3:10 p.m.: Input from the Construction\, Manufacturing\, and Marine Industries\n\n3:10-3:20 p.m.: Break\n\n3:20-3:50 p.m.: General Small Business Regulatory Concerns\n\n3:50-4:00 p.m.: Closing Remarks\n\n\n\nThe purpose of each roundtable is to hear directly from local small businesses in various industries. Depending upon the feedback from the registration comment form\, the roundtable agenda may be modified to fit the interests of the small businesses in attendance.
