Budd, the first Black woman and youngest Chief Justice in Massachusetts, was sworn in by Governor Charlie Baker to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court on December 1, 2020. Join us for this moderated conversation with Chief Justice Budd as she shares her leadership journey and accession to one of the highest Judicial appointments. She will discuss how she breaks barriers in a predominantly white male court and industry, and how serving during this most recent of racial reckoning has helped to shape her legacy.
