Shaping your Role as a Leader: As a new manager, you’ll need to channel the skills that made you effective as an individual contributor and bring them to focus as you work to harness the talents of others. During this session, we will explore different leadership models that help to ensure you are focused on organizational change, including results-focused leadership, servant leadership, whole-brain leadership, and situational leadership. We will also focus on key questions, such as when supervisors should adopt different methods, given unique team and cultural compositions. Through exercises and discussions, you will begin to shape your personal leadership approach in order to create an inclusive, authentic, and effective leadership style. **Shaping your Role as a Leader is part of a four part series on management. Participants who attend three of our four management offerings within one year will earn an online certificate of completion from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and Bentley University.
