The Manager’s Toolkit: Interactive Sessions for Real-World Leadership

We consistently see professionals step into people management roles without training, support, or resources to aid their success, and the success of those reporting to them. While this pattern is far from uncommon, TWToday is addressing this gap as our members and colleagues take on new responsibilities and work scopes with confidence.

 

This quarterly leadership development workshop is designed to be highly interactive and practical. Breaking out into a small-group rotation through the topics below, three prominent leaders will arm attendees with cross-sector perspective, tangible tools, language, and confidence they can immediately apply.

• Strategic Hiring & Onboarding: Identifying and integrating high-potential talent in a low-risk environment, led by Ruth Steel, Co-Founder of Arculen.

• Communication & Feedback: Building communication skills that foster trust, motivation, and collaboration, led by Jeanne Yee MacNevin, Vice President, Corporate Secretary, Chief of Staff at Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

• Developing Your Team: Creating meaningful opportunities for your people to grow and be seen, led by Laura Sullivan, State Street. 

This workshop is for people who manage direct reports, teams, or projects, first time or soon-to-be managers, and all leaders who are committed to doing right by and lifting up the colleagues around them.
