Ellyn McColgan President Fidelity Brokerage Company "Confronting America's Retirement Challenge" Ellyn McColgan serves as president of Fidelity Brokerage Company (FBC), a business unit of Fidelity Investments with more than $1.35 trillion in total assets under administration. McColgan also serves as a member of Fidelity's Management Committee. McColgan joined Fidelity in 1990 and has steadily moved up the ranks, building a strong reputation as an effective builder of businesses. During her tenure at the company, she has managed fund accounting and custody operations, the 401(k) client services division, the 403(b) business, and the intermediary business that distributes Fidelity funds through banks, broker-dealers, and insurance firms, prior to being named president of FBC in October of 2002. A nationally recognized business leader, McColgan was named one of the ''50 Most Powerful Women in Business'' by Fortune Magazine in 2005. She serves as a vice chair of the board of trustees of Babson College and vice chair of the board of directors of the Securities Industry Association.
