Women's Network Breakfast - Panel Discussion: ''Where are the Girls'' The State of Girls' Programming in Greater Boston

Over the last decade there has been a sharp decline in and backlash against single-sex activities, despite compelling information on the differing needs of girls and boys. Today, a strong drive toward exclusively coeducational activities and a disincentive to build gender-sensitive environments prevails. What remains to be seen is how this shift has impacted our nation's young women. Join us for an insightful and informative panel discussion as members of the Girls' Coalition of Greater Boston present the findings of the coalition's year-long study ''Where are the Girls?'' This discussion will examine the status of girls today, including gaps in services and alarming statistics.
