Best Buddies MA & RI is growing! We are looking for passionate individuals to help us continue to create more inclusion in our MA & RI communities. We are currently hiring for Employment Consultants in our Jobs Program - located in Boston, Worcester, the South Shore, or Cape Cod - and we currently have 3 openings for this role.
Employment Consultants, or Job Coaches, work one-on-one with individuals with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) to provide support in the job development process (resume building, interview prep, travel training, etc.) and also provide ongoing support once individuals have been placed at their jobs (help navigating day-to-day workplace challenges, conversations with coworkers and managers, career development goals and growth, etc.). Employment Consultants work as part of the Jobs Program team within Best Buddies, collaborating with colleagues who are all working together towards a common goal -- to create more inclusion in our society for individuals with IDD. Our Best Buddies community is welcoming, supportive, and encouraging of people from all backgrounds and all abilities, and we value our spirit of camaraderie and collegiality immensely. We encourage individuals from all backgrounds and with all levels of experience to apply.
