With the economic landscape continuing to change, the need for upskilling and reskilling talent at an unprecedented pace has become more urgent than ever before. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is partnering with chambers and business associations throughout the state to launch the Massachusetts Business Coalition on Skills (MBCS).
The Coalition is drafting a report highlighting best practices for Massachusetts employers offering work-based learning opportunities. The goal of the report is to demonstrate how the business community can become more involved in the talent development system and to showcase employers and their best practices for offering quality experiences to students.
Examples of work-based learning: apprenticeships, internships, CVTE partnerships, early college, etc.
