Food insecurity is a national public health challenge that affects people of all ages from across the social spectrum. Locally, Feeding America estimates that at least 1 in 10 adults in Eastern Massachusetts, and 1 in 9 children, do not know where their next meal will come from. This forum will examine why food insecurity is a pressing public health issue that affects all of us, including the business community, and how we can address it together. Our panelists will talk candidly about what leaders can do to build a healthy workforce, how business leadership can be a critical part of a larger, sustainable solution, and how The Hunger to Health Collaboratory’s work can help build stronger, healthier, and more productive communities. This Special event is presented in partnership with The Hunger to Health Collaboratory, The Greater Boston Food Bank and Stop & Shop.
