Better Childcare, Better Business: How Organizations can Incentivize and Support Working Parents Fall is here, and some working parents that are potentially heading back to offices or considering re-entering the workforce are still facing roadblocks when it comes to childcare. Conversations around the already vulnerable system of childcare and how it related to employee engagement as well as unemployment were brought to the forefront over the past year. The Pandemic quickly removed the safety net of schooling and childcare and many are still feeling the effects of that damage. Odds are that you are either a working parent or employ a working parent, and for many, childcare directly relates to how we work, when we work and where we work.Join us for this candid conversation, where our panelists will speak to how childcare directly correlates to productivity, employee engagement and retention. They will discuss what the role of employers should be and what are organizations doing to incentives their working parents in a time when according to the Harvard Business Review, 20% have said they have had to reduce or leave their work solely due to lack of childcare. They will examine the pivotal role childcare institutions play in the future workforce and the development of the next generations. Finally, address how we as leaders and organizations in the business community can collaborate with childcare providers to support and provide effective solutions for our working parents.
