But what does it mean to be a certified business, and how does one obtain that certification? In this presentation, business owners will learn about the different types of diversity certifications available, how having a diversity certification may be a useful tool to help market their business, and what the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) does to encourage the participation of diverse businesses in the State procurement process. Please note that this is an informational session and not a Pre-Certification Webinar, which is a requirement of applying for diversity certification through the SDO. Attendees will receive information about upcoming Pre-Certification Webinars during the presentation.
