WHAT: To celebrate National Bike Month and National Mental Health Awareness Month, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (“Blue Cross”), title sponsor of Bluebikes, will provide a free $50 Bluebikes credit to encourage more people to experience the physical and mental health benefits of biking. Blue Cross is the title sponsor of Bluebikes, which is municipally owned by the by thirteen cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts, jointly managed by the Cities of Boston, Cambridge, Everett, and Somerville and the Town of Brookline, and operated under contract by Lyft. WHEN: National Bike Month Thursday, May 1, 2025 – Saturday, May 31, 2025 WHERE: The credit applies to both pedal and ebike trips across Bluebikes’ 500 stations in 13 municipalities, including Arlington, Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Newton, Revere, Salem, Somerville, and Watertown. HOW: Riders can redeem the free $50 Bluebikes credit by entering code BLUECROSSMABIKE in the “Rewards” sections of the Bluebikes App. The credit is available while supplies last.
