Today's leaders face new opportunities, as well as new challenges. In order to succeed, leaders must move away from the mindset that has made them effective as individual contributors and focus on harnessing the talents of others. This shift in mindset proves particularly critical when attempting to lead in times of complexity or even crisis. Trusted leaders ground themselves, and then establish synchrony with their followers. In this session, we will explore the difference between “managing” and “leading” your group, and delve into some foundational competencies critical to leading effectively. We will examine considerations and opportunities for leaders to apply the Resonant Leadership model in their work with teams and coworkers. Participants will have the opportunity to self-evaluate how they are connecting with their stakeholders, and themselves, to best position themselves to lead in this unprecedented time and in complex situations going forward.
