Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's largest community event; the unique and inspirational gathering takes place after dark were participants gather to celebrate, honor, and remember those affected by blood cancers and take the steps forward to end cancer. Registration is free, but participants are encouraged to raise funds to benefit lifesaving research and support for people battling cancer.
The memorable evening features an empowering ceremony honoring survivors and remembering those we have lost and a walk around Boston Common where participants bring light to the darkness of cancer by carrying an illuminated lantern in one of three colors: white lanterns are carried by patients and survivors; red lanterns by supporters; gold lanterns are carried by those walking in memory of loved ones lost to cancer.
