Come join us as a Volunteer Judge at BDL's first high school debate tournament of the season! The Boston Debate League prepares young people for college, career, and engagement with the world through debate-inspired learning in the classroom and beyond. Each year, the BDL engages middle and high school students from across Boston in the power of debate—helping them grow into confident thinkers, speakers, and leaders. Judges share their time and talent to uplift youth voice by listening to debate rounds, providing feedback, and determining a winner of debate rounds. During this shift you'll have the opportunity to judge two debate rounds. No experience necessary; we train on the spot! Meals provided. Register at: bostondebate.org/volunteer After signing up, you'll receive an email with additional instructions to prepare you for your shift (including a questionnaire form, eCORI form, and judge training to complete). Be on the lookout (including in your spam folder!). Any questions? Reach out to Valeria Pereira, Volunteer Manager, at (vpereira@bostondebate.org).
