Grab your friends, family, and co-workers and join us as we walk toward September for the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! We’ve taken down all the barriers with no registration fee, no fundraising minimum, and have created a virtual experience like no other. We can walk thousands of miles together all summer long for the kids, raising awareness and funds along the way. Our re-imagined experience is in full effect and we look forward to the victory lap at our virtual St. Jude Walk/Run on September 26, taking place in the St. Jude Walk/Run mobile app in your neighborhood. Funds raised through events like St. Jude Walk/Run Boston – Presented by HomeGoods help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. But that means that one in five of those children will not survive. Together with the support of participants, donors, volunteers and more, St. Jude will not stop until no child dies from cancer.
