LaFleur is executive vice president and chief operating officer of National Grid's U.S. energy distribution business, where she is responsible for customer operations, engineering and asset management, dispatch and emergency operations, and safety. National Grid delivers gas and electricity to nearly 4 million customers in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, and recently acquired two of the region's largest energy suppliers – Mass Electric and Keyspan. LaFleur joined the National Grid group in 1986 and has served in several leadership positions, including general counsel, vice president of retail marketing, and president & CEO of National Grid's operating companies in New England. She is a former attorney at Ropes & Gray in Boston and currently serves as a director of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, the United Way of Central Massachusetts, and Grow Worcester, Inc.
