Mel Robbins, well-known life and business coach and the subject of a November 2007 Boston Magazine article, will be the featured speaker at the Chamber's June Women's Network Breakfast. Mel Robbins is the host of the Boston-based program Make it Happen with Mel Robbins on Sirius satellite radio, and one of the most sought-after life coaches in the country. An expert on conflict resolution and career & life change, Robbins' advice has been featured in publications across the country, and she makes regular appearances on Fox Business Channel and Good Morning America. Prior to her media career, Robbins worked in the legal and executive coaching fields, advising entrepreneurs and executives at major companies including Johnson & Johnson, Bank of America, Boston Scientific, and Fidelity. Robbins recently partnered with the world leader in test-prep, Kaplan, to release the first-ever coaching sessions for high school students facing the SAT exam. She recently reached a television development deal with ABC/Disney and is working on a book due out next year. A graduate of Dartmouth College and Boston College Law School, Robbins has been studying coaching since 1995 and has received extensive training, instruction, and certifications on coaching methodologies, productivity techniques, and motivational speaking.
