Sandra Fenwick President & COO Children's Hospital Boston One of the pioneering women in the Boston medical community, Sandra Fenwick is the president and chief operating officer of Children’s Hospital Boston, a 397-bed Harvard teaching hospital with more than $1.2 billion of revenues and $195 million of research funding. Fenwick is responsible for daily operations of Children’s Hospital, its satellite facilities, and related institutional affiliates, as well as management of patient care programs and facilities, operating and capital budgets, strategic planning and program development, and research and educational missions. In 2007, she received a Pinnacle Award from the Greater Boston Chamber in recognition of her professional accomplishments and achievements. Fenwick is a former senior vice president at CareGroup, Inc., and previously served for 20 years at Beth Israel Hospital in a number of roles, including vice president and deputy director. She is a graduate of Simmons College and earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas.
