Jess Bardio graduated from Northeastern University in 2020 with a BS+MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Currently, they are a Design and Development Electrical Engineer at Lutron Electronics, primarily focusing on new product design. Jess has made significant contributions to many products, most notably Lutron's Athena Wireless Node and Lumaris Tape Light solutions, both of which involved introducing new technologies to Lutron. Jess has briefly supported other roles at Lutron, including Recruiting, Operations, and Technical Writing. These experiences provided valuable insights into other parts of the organization, building a broad foundation for their career. As a new member of the City Awake Advisory Board, Jess looks forward to expanding their network and connecting with other young professionals in the Boston area. They are eager to enhance Lutron's visibility and involvement in the local community, contributing to the region's professional landscape.
